Sew with Nelly Bea specialises in dressmaking and sewing workshops in the Bournemouth area.

Here are some of both my favourite makes together with some of the fabulous makes completed at Sew with Nelly Bea workshops.

Aunt Nelly Aunt Nelly (left) with my Granny. Aunt Nelly was a tailor & seamtress and is now the Nelly of Nelly Bea.	New Look 6446 My take on NL6446 with a little bit of machine embroidery and added belt loops to just finish it off.
Keryn's FIRST dress Well done to Keryn who has been attending my beginners group for about a year and has now completed her first dress.	In a whirl Well done to Barbara who made her first dress to wear to a family reunion.
Beautiful blouse This fabric was HORRIBLE to work with but a Saturday Sewing Session and a lot of patience paid off! Well done Karen.	Sheep dungarees Jo created the pattern for her dungarees at a Copy Cat Workshop and made them up in in this cute sheep print. Very cute!
Kimono Workshop Four friends spent a relaxing day creating kimonos	Bea's cushion Perfectionist Bea, created this lovely lotus flower applique design on her first ever cushion.
Child's Dress Two cut little dress made at a child dress worksop.	Simplicity 8014 I love this pattern and this border print fabric.
Alice Skirt Mary made this cute little circular skirt for her grand daughter. Made from Liberty Tana Lawn with an Alice in wonderland print & finished with a bound hem.	Wendy's first dress What a success! Inspired by a favourite summer dress, Wendy has created her first ever dress and is now busy making number two!
Geo print blouse Great work Sue. I love that print!	Dance the night away Simon makes all his wife's dance outfits. This one have tartan detailling. Well done Simon for another fabulous make.
Nina's bag for life at the beginners class we spend a couple of weeks making these LOVELY bags for life.	Apron Dress Bound edge and precision stitch were a feature of this make. Well done Bea for your accurate stitching...not bad for a beginner!
Sock Monsters Made by a Cub Pack this was a fun night out for me! didn't they do well?	Kimono workshop Great group of six friends spent a day together making kimono tops.
Jules cushion Patch worked together from fabric swatches Jules created this fabulous cushion.	Cleo Popular Tilly & the Buttons pattern 'Cleo' made by Andrea. Love the contrast trim.
Pretty Pastels Made from one of my bag projects Andrea create her version using this combinations of pretty pastel prints.	Overlocker mastered! After a 1-2-1 with the overlocker, Vanessa got her tension right and made a top! Well done Vanessa
Cute! Another cute make by Sue.	Embroidery trials I love experimenting. Here i tested how possible it was to re-create a machine embroidery design using free machine embroidery.
Something Fishy Well done to Andrea, this eye-catching fabric combination is perfect for her version of my zipped pouch project.	My Denim Dress This is another version of Simplicity 8014. this time in denim with added embroidery and contrast top-stitching.
